根据一份最新餐饮数据报告，统计了全美15个主要城市的平均小费比例，结果显示：
丹佛食客最慷慨，平均小费高达 21.18%！
紧随其后的是奥斯汀（21.06%）和西雅图（20.98%）。
在这份榜单中，迈阿密、休斯顿、波特兰等城市的平均小费也都超过20%，
而纽约（19.91%）与芝加哥（19.87%）则稳居中段。
出人意料的是，加州的旧金山居然排名垫底，平均仅 18.77%。
除了地域差异，年龄也影响着美国人的 tipping 习惯。数据显示，60岁以上的顾客最舍得给，平均约 21%；
25～40岁的群体稍低一些，而20岁出头的年轻人最节省，只给 12%～19%。
这或许与收入水平有关：年轻人收入有限，而年长群体经济更稳定。
尽管“小费疲劳”已成为社会热议话题，但数据说明，大多数美国城市的平均小费依然维持在 20%左右。对于服务业从业者来说，这仍是重要的收入来源。
