Sonic工作人员表示，这份菜单将永久存在，绝不是面对消费者对快餐价格上涨而做出的临时“救火”行为。
Sonic的首席营销官Ryan Dickerson也对媒体表示，“食客从未如此关注实惠划算的就餐选择，但食客们不该满足于那些千篇一律、毫无创意的折扣。许多快餐连锁品牌都在宣传一样的套餐，消费者选择有限。”
他表示，希望可以做出一些独特的、有趣的事情。
