美国连锁汉堡品牌 Five Guys 最近因为一项看似不大的调整,引发了不少顾客不满:门店不再使用原本的薯条杯,而改用环保纸袋来盛装薯条。

根据品牌方面的说法,新包装有助于薯条更好地保持新鲜度和口感,同时强调产品质量和一贯的“大方分量”并没有改变。

不过,从消费者的反馈来看,这次改动并没有得到一致认可。

不少顾客在社交平台表示,自己最近买到的薯条明显没有以前多。过去 Five Guys 的薯条之所以让人印象深刻,一个重要原因就是“看起来很值”——除了杯子本身装得很满,袋子里通常还会额外多放一些薯条。这种超出预期的分量感,一直是 Five Guys 很有代表性的消费体验之一。

而在改用新纸袋后,一些顾客认为这种“豪爽感”消失了。有人直言,同样的价格,却感觉拿到的薯条变少了;也有人认为,新包装下薯条看起来更软,整体体验不如以前。对于本来单价就不算低的 Five Guys 来说,这种变化更容易引发消费者对“缩水”的敏感反应。

 

当然,也有部分员工和支持者站出来解释,认为后厨的出品标准并没有变,依旧按照原本的分量制作,只是包装形式改变后,让顾客在视觉上产生了差异感。有员工表示,门店仍然会按照原有方式装薯条,并没有故意减少份量。

这件事对餐饮行业也有一定启发。对于连锁品牌来说,消费者购买的不只是产品本身,还有长期建立起来的品牌印象和价值感。哪怕实际克重没有明显变化,只要顾客觉得“没有以前多了”或者“看起来不值这个价”,负面情绪就很容易出现。

 

从经营角度看,包装升级、环保材料替换、成本控制,都是品牌发展中常见的动作。但问题在于,任何影响顾客感知的变化,都需要格外谨慎。尤其是像 Five Guys 这种本来就靠“高价格+高满足感”建立认知的品牌,一旦消费者开始怀疑分量缩水,品牌信任感也可能受到影响。
